Audiograms

Audiogram is a chart that shows the perception of the ear to varied sounds. It is the result of audiometry. This examination is performed by a trained speech pathologist who will determine the audiometric tracing of the person being examined. If compared with previous exams, it may show possible signs of hearing loss induced or not. People exposed to high levels of noise due to work activity should be periodically examined for the early detection of PAIR (Noise-Induced Hearing Loss) or PAINPSE (Hearing Loss Induced by High Sound Pressure Level).
